Due to our state-of-art equipment, we are able to produce prototypes and small lots to very large volume assemblies. By utilizing the latest marking equipment in ink technology, we can identify wires, versus using tags, to improve quality and lower costs.
QNI utilizes flexible fixed station assembly and test boards to produce the final assembly. These uniquely designed assembly boards allow for quick changes to meet engineering changes. By utilizing delrin fixtures with pogo pins, minimal maintenance is required and ease of final assembly insures a reliable product at a competitive cost. Microprocessor based testers are used to ensure our customers that 100% of all assemblies are electrically tested. These state-of-the-art testers allow individual test programs to be developed and stored on magnetic tape for quality control and engineering purposes. Testers utilized have the capability to test up to 1024 electrical points.
Through the practical use of statistical process controls plus first piece and in-process inspection, final audit can trace the quality efficiency of each department in our goal of continuous quality improvement and QS 9000 certification.
We have the ability to design and build connector tools, clips and other plastic parts to meet your needs. With the addition of a fifty-ton automatic Newbury, we can produce these components in house, greatly reduce cost and improve our customer’s market timing demands.
Ultrasonic bonding technology has been adapted by the automotive industry to improve upon the dip type splice. QNI also offers a variety of abrasion and high temperature insulation covers, including dual wall sleeving.
Our tool and die technicians have over 35 years experience in the wiring business and can offer proven insight into the development of new connector designs. Customer tooling is fully maintained at no additional charge. |
