QNI utilizes
modern, high speed wire cutting equipment, including:
Amp CLS II’s,
Arto’s CS-9AT’s,
Komax 34’s,
Arto’s CS6 CTU’s
Due
to our state-of-art equipment, we are able to produce prototypes and small
lots to very large volume assemblies. By utilizing
the latest marking
equipment in ink technology, we can identify wires, versus using tags, to
improve quality and lower costs. |

With numerous in-place brands and
sizes of bench terminating presses, QNI has the ability to utilize all makes
of applicators, such as AMP, Packard, Altair, Molex, and Diamond.
While over 90% of the circuits
manufactured by QNI are automatically terminated in wire preparation, small
runs and unique multiple conductor wire applications are processed in this
section.
QNI utilizes components produced
in the USA, Asia, and Europe. Our vast inventory of applicator dies greatly
minimizes tool cost. |

QNI utilizes flexible fixed
station assembly and test boards to produce the final assembly. These
uniquely designed assembly boards allow for quick changes to meet
engineering changes. By utilizing delrin fixtures with pogo pins, minimal
maintenance is required and ease of final assembly insures a reliable
product at a competitive cost.
Microprocessor based testers are
used to ensure our customers that 100% of all assemblies are electrically
tested. These state-of-the-art testers allow individual test programs to be
developed and stored on magnetic tape for quality control and engineering
purposes. Testers utilized have the capability to test up to 1024 electrical
points. |
